One of the primary goals of DC WRIISC is to provide educational training opportunities for clinicians in post-deployment health to enhance Veteran care. Fellowships

DC WRIISC provides a variety of professional training opportunities for clinicians and researchers who desire advanced knowledge and skills related to the study and treatment of war-related illnesses and injuries. Funded by VA's Office of Academic Affiliations, this advanced fellowship offers a unique opportunity to be trained in the health concerns most pertinent to combat Veterans with difficult-to-diagnose conditions.

Two-Year Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Our two-year Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellowship is focused on developing scientist-practitioners with advanced skills in neuropsychological assessment and consultation in a unique interdisciplinary setting. Fifty percent of the fellow's time is devoted to clinical research and 50% is devoted to clinical practice. We will be recruiting for this position for the 2026-2028 training cycle. VA Advanced Fellowship in Health Sciences

OurVA Advanced Fellowship in Health Sciences enables fellows to gain an advanced understanding of a variety of Veteran post-deployment health topics through involvement in multiple studies. For more information, please refer to our program brochure.
