Program Description: Providers, congress, the media and other stakeholders continue to highlight the need to support Veterans with military exposure concerns. This inaugural 30-minute knowledge-based, interview-style Military Exposures Clinical Briefs Series converses with specific occupational groups to offer providers some quick, hands-on skills as a complement to the more detailed learning found in our War Related Injury and Illness Study Center (WRIISC)-HOME webinar series.
Dr. Stephen Hunt, the National Director of the VA Post-Deployment Integrated Care Initiative and a Registry Physician at VA Puget Sound, and Nurse Educator Andrea Kossoudji joins Dr. Nicole Sullivan, Clinical Psychologist, to discuss the latest updates to the implementation of the PACT Act, and answer frequently asked questions about the new Toxic Exposure Screening. This live virtual training is appropriate for interprofessional healthcare teams.
