Head trauma is a major, frequent exposure among military personnel, and one of the most important conditions to manage, both in terms of life-disruption and for recovery is management of sleep difficulties. Sleep management is an important clinical concern that is poorly addressed in most care settings, and particularly for Veterans with complex military exposure concerns.
The purpose of this knowledge-based, live virtual webinar is to provide innovative knowledge of the management of sleep for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury and discuss the implications for supporting Veterans with chronic physical symptoms and environmental exposure concerns. Sleep management is an important clinical concern that is poorly addressed in most care settings, and particularly for Veterans with complex military exposure concerns. This training is appropriate for interprofessional health care teams.
